Bronze medal for sustainability

Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are becoming increasingly important. Sustainable and ethical business practices have always played an important role in our Group and many aspects of sustainability are simply part of our day-to-day.

For example, we capture and use solar energy, pay close attention to energy efficiency, produce long-lasting and repairable products whilst using resources in the most economical way possible, and use recycled/recyclable packaging. Our facilities are modern and provide excellent working conditions for our employees. We’re following a long-term corporate strategy and regularly invest in sustainable, economic success.

This has now been officially confirmed by EcoVadis – a recognised, independent rating platform that assesses sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
The result: Sigma was already recognized in 2021 and received a medal in the bronze category in 2024. Our ranking puts us in the top 35% of the companies assessed.

But we certainly won’t be resting on our laurels with this rating and bronze medal. We’ll continue to focus on measures and issues relating to sustainability.
